While working on the music for Zubatto Syndicate, I used a numbering system to keep track of ideas at various stages. Originally, I was planning to keep these as the permanent titles, but I changed my mind after constantly confusing all of the songs.
I looked for title ideas based on the number 27, but was overwhelmed by what I found. 27 has dozens of rich and potent associations in math, history and astronomy. 27 is the perfect number of orgy participants, apparently. There are 27 (current) amendments to the Constitution of the United States. Uranus has 27 moons.

27 has much more mystery and intrigue hidden in those two digits than any particular reference could possibly have. So Z27 is keeping its original designation.
