News from Chad about his latest release and more:

Dear friends and music lovers!

I’m delighted to tell you all some really great news!

My newest album The Sky Cries, with my great friend, and equally wonderful pianist Michal Vanoucek is now available everywhere – Origin Records, my website, iTunes… etc… This project features some of my Northwest musical heros – Mark Taylor, Matt Jorgensen, and Portland bassist Dave Captein. Michal will be in Seattle during the month of November, and we’ll be celebrating with several concerts around the area. I hope you can join us at some of these shows:

November 9th – Tula’s Jazz Club, Seattle, WA. With the Emerald City Jazz Orchestra.
November 11th – The North City Wine Bistro, Shoreline, WA. Duo Performance.
November 12th – Tabor Space, Portland, OR. Double-bill with The Kora Band.
November 13th – Jazz Canvas, Poulsbo, WA. Part of the Jazz Canvas Series – live painting and great jazz!

Idaho Tour

November 17th – College of Southern Idaho, Twin Falls
November 18th – Vino Rosso, Idaho Falls. Sponsored by the Eastern Idaho Jazz Society.
November 19th – Idaho State University, Pocatello. Jazz Night – featuring the University’s Top Jazz Bands.
November 20th – The Blue Door, Boise.
The Idaho tour will feature many great musicians: Brent Jensen, Clark Sommers, Aaron Miller, and Adam Crofts.
November 24th – Tula’s Jazz Club, Seattle, WA. Seattle CD Release!

I know I speak for Michal as well when I say that we’re deeply thankful to everyone who helped to make this record a reality, and look forward to sharing this music with you.

I’m also honored to begin a musical residency on Thursdays at Mona’s Bistro & Lounge. The series will begin in December – but we’re doing a special preview this thursday, November 4th at 9pm. I’ll be joined by bassist Devin Lowe, and Mark DiFlorio (my great friend, and longtime musical collaborator in The Kora Band).

As always: stay tuned for more updates, check out my website, and if you’d like to be removed from this mailing list- please come to any of the above dates listed and just let me know!

Thanks for the support!
Chad McCullough
