I’d like to call your attention to two events coming up this week:
First, on Wednesday Dec 8 at 7:30pm (tomorrow), I’ll be doing the Jack
Straw Composer Spotlight. If you’ve never been to one of these,
they’re pretty neat — composers come in and talk about projects
they’ve done at Jack Straw. So that’s what I’ll be doing — I’ll be
talking about the CD I just made, called Vertigo. I’ll discuss the
genesis of the project, play a few excerpts (even outtakes!), and
discuss how the CD was put together after the recording was all
finished. At the end I plan to touch on whether making full-length
albums even makes sense any more.

Second, on Friday Dec 10 at 8 pm, I’ll be playing at Good Shepherd in
Wallingford with a great new band called Crosstalk. The music is
sounding great and we’re really looking forward to Friday night’s
